Solar thermal – for water and heating
A modern solar system enables you to cover the warm water demand around 200 days per year. Additionally, the room heating can be supplied considerably.
Your energy costs decrease noticeably. Your investment pays off after a few years. We are happy to give you concrete examples.
Solar thermal for domestic water heating
A solar system has four main components:
- Solar collector
- Buffer storage
- Solar control unit
- Pump group
The domestic water demand can be covered around 200 days a year.
An rund 200 Tagen im Jahr kann der Brauchwasserbedarf gedeckt werden. The boiler can be completely turned off in summer.
In winter, the solar plant preheats the domestic water. The energy demand decreases significantly.
By integrating the washing mashine and the dishwasher into the warm water circle, additional power can be saved.
The calculations per person are the following: 1.5 square meters collector space and a boiler volume of 70-100 liters. Therefore, a family of four would need an average of 6 square meters of collector space and a 300 liter boiler.

The required collector space depends on the heating demand for the space to be heated. A general rule is 1 square meter collector for 5 square meters of living space.
The buffer storage tank should have at least a volume of 50 liters per square meter of collector.
